About this design

The bus stop toilet block features entrances on both sides, creating an accessible, functional space with hygiene facilities and a rest area for commuters. Using warm, earthy brown sandstone and sleek, perforated metal, the design balances natural and modern elements, blending well with the busy surroundings. A small café with simple seating connects both sides, encouraging relaxation and socializing, while greenery adds a natural touch. The perforated metal and open areas allow light and air circulation, reducing the need for artificial lighting and maintaining a bright, odor-free interior. The sandstone helps regulate temperature, and the open design with greenery improves the microclimate, enhancing comfort in warm weather.
