About this design
To encourage a bustling, vibrant atmosphere, commercial spaces have been integrated to activate the area as a dynamic public market. The design features a central courtyard that serves as a public space, with skylights, jalis, and green patches enhancing cleanliness, natural light, and ventilation. The sandstone color palette is inspired by the local context, helping the facility blend seamlessly with its surroundings. The facility is inclusive, featuring PWD and gender-friendly toilets, as well as clear signage for accessibility. Additionally, rainwater harvesting systems are integrated to promote sustainability.
