The public toilet block is designed to be accessible, welcoming, and functional, with a bright yellow exterior that reduces stigma and a “Chai Point” window that adds a social element. Facing the main road for visibility, it has discreet entry doors for privacy and simple landscaping to enhance aesthetics. Features include gender-inclusive signage, bench seating, and a nearby charging station for added comfort. Perforated metal sheets allow natural light and airflow, reducing the need for artificial lighting and improving comfort. At night, soft lighting through the perforations enhances safety, while the design controls temperature and creates shade for a cooler microclimate. Durable materials and a minimalist approach make the structure low-maintenance and weather-resistant.
